题目内容
What is color? Why do some of things around us look red, others green, others blue?
Colors are really made by reflected light(反射光线). We see color because most of things reflect light. Something is red, for it reflects most of the red light. In the same way, if something is green, it reflects most of the green light. If something reflects all light, it is white. If it doesn’t reflect anything, it is black.
Some light is not reflected. It is taken in(被吸收)and turned into(被变成)heat(热量). The darker(深)the color is, the less(更少的)light is reflected, the more light is taken in. For this reason(理由), dark-colored clothes are warmer in the sun than light-colored clothes.
