Our school has set up a group of “How to deal with the pollution of the river”, and I am in the group. Here is some of my advice on how to carry out the activity.
First, we should do some research to find out why there is so much pollution. We can ask our teachers and some experts for help. We can also find some information on the Internet.
Second, we should work out a report on the serious pollution of the river and hand it to the government. Also, we can show the citizens(市民) our opinions on how to deal with the pollution.
Third, we should set up some small groups to collect the waste in the river during the holidays. We should try to plant trees along the river and put up some posters to tell people not to pollute our environment so that more people can take part in saving the earth actively.
After all these steps, I think the pollution of the river will be less. And we'll learn a lot from these activities at the same time.
