I enjoy short holidays very much. It can bring me a lot of happiness.
Last Sunday, I went on a trip to East Zoo with my mother. We had a great time there.
We didn’t leave until 10 o’clock on Sunday morning because I had my piano lesson. It was around noon when we finally got to the zoo by bicycle. We saw lots of animals from different places. Among them, I liked a lovely kangaroo best. My mother who teaches geography at school told me a lot about kangaroos, “There are forty-seven kinds of kangaroos in the world. Most of them live in Australia. Kangaroos have very long, strong back legs used for jumping. They also have long, strong tails used for resting on. They only eat fruit and grass. Kangaroos can run at fifty kilometres an hour. The biggest kangaroos stand more than two metres tall.” Later, we also saw one panda. Two tigers and some other animals.
I learned much knowledge about animals from this short holiday.
