Mid-autumn Festival

Mid-autumn Festival takes place on August 15th in the lunar calendar．It is a special festival when people go back home, no matter where they are．People get together to enjoy the fullest and brightest moon of the year and have mooncakes．It is said that men are not allowed to take part in the moon-worship ceremony, because the moon is a woman．
