Last Sunday afternoon Sam went to clean the city park. He worked there for three hours. At five o’clock he left there. On the way home he saw a dog lying on the road. Its left leg was hurt and it was very hungry.

Sam carried it home. He put it into the bathroom. It got out of the bathroom several times. After it was cleaned, Sam took it to the animal doctor. The doctor gave the dog some medicine and told Sam the dog would be fine.

Sam wanted to keep the dog but he couldn’t because his mom worried it would hurt his six-month-old sister Sally. So Sam put the dog’s picture on the Internet. Five days later a family took it home. Sam was glad to see his friend go to a good home.
