上句话my only purpose was to become the star on my football team.

Miller was struck by a car“Miller被车撞了以及下文I thought to myself, even though he had only one arm he was more of a leader“尽管他只有一只胳膊可知,Miller在车祸中失去了一个胳膊。

We went 10-1 and I was named most valuable(有价值的)footballer,可知,在比赛中表现非常优秀,获得了最有价值球员。

Just before September, Miller was struck by a car可知,这里提到了Miller出了车祸,结合单词首字母可知,这里考查accident,意为事故

One afternoon, I was crossing the field to go home and saw Miller stuck going over a fence可知,Miller在越过一个篱笆,所以这里表示他们到了篱笆的另一边,考查other其他的,另外的

根据上下文语境he was more of a leader. I was right to have admired(崇拜)him.

Miller was struck by a car“Miller被车撞了以及下文I thought to myself, even though he had only one arm he was more of a leader“尽管他只有一只胳膊可知,Miller在车祸中失去了一个胳膊。 One afternoon, I was crossing the field to go home and saw Miller stuck going over a fence可知,Miller在越过一个篱笆,所以这里表示他们到了篱笆的另一边,考查other其他的,另外的
