I am glad to know that you’ll spend your holiday in China. You’re expected to know something about Chinese culture, as the Spring Festival is coming ,I will tell you some customs about it.

The Spring Festival is a big event in China. People usually start to prepare for it one month before it comes. We prepare delicious food, clean and decorate homes with red lanterns. On the eve of the festival, the family get together for a big dinner. It’s a traditional custom that the eldest in the family starts the meal with best wishes for the whole family. Children put on their new clothes , greet their parents and get lucky money from them. During the Spring Festival, people greet each other “xinchunkuaile”and give best wishes to each other. You can watch the lion and dragon dances, lantern shows , guess riddles on lanterns.
