     Mrs. Black was waiting for a telephone, but she had no food in the house. So she left the baby at home
and said to her five-year-old son. "I'm going to buy some food, Tom. Please look after your brother Mike,
and I'll be back in a few minutes."
    When she was out, the telephone rang (响) and Tom answered.
    "Hello, may I speak to Mrs. Black?" said a man.
     "Sorry, my mother isn't in." answered Tom.
