Butterfly world, the largest free flying park for butterflies in a beautiful garden in South Africa, opened its doors to the public in November 1996．The idea began in the UK and such parks can be found in countries throughout the world．Each year these parks are visited by thousands of visitors and now thanks to the efforts made by two women from Capetonian, South Africans now have the chance to experience nature at its best．

    Great care has been taken with the wonderful indoor garden．The garden is nice to look at,  with all its water features（特点），foreign plants and the beautiful butterflies which fly around you．

Butterflies world welcomes visitors to take photos or videos of these beauties．Drinks and

 light meals are served from our restaurant，and there are many butterfly goods in the shop．

Inside the show house，you can learn about the life cycle of a butterfly, and if visitors are lucky，they might see a baby butterfly coming out of its pupa（蛹）．

The park is open every day of the year except December 25th, and the opening hours are from 9 a m．to 5 p．m．in every month，except June，July and August, when it is open from 10 a．m．to 4 p．m．

    There are no formal guides（正式的导游）, but if you ask for one at the ticket sales counter, we will provide you with one of the staff（职工）who can show you around．
