Two years ago, when it was time for my cousin to start college, my 78-year-old grandfather decided to do the same. He enrolled at a community college, 　21　 　classes twice a week until his　 　22　 　last summer.

As a(n) 　23　 , he spent countless hours in his office studying and completing assignments. He consistently earned a 4.0 GPA and 　24　 the dean’s list. Although he was twice as old as his professors, he loved everything 　25　 　school. Learning new things was 　26　 　his passion.

His will to learn was a great 　27　 　for me to do my best in school. We were always　 　28　 　with each other, trying to bring home the better grade. When he 　29　 　79, my grandfather still felt like he could beat the unstoppable no matter 　30　 　came his way – whether it was his continuing battle with cancer or a 　31　 　professor.

My grandfather entered the hall of 　32　 　at his high school as the school’s most accomplished football player. When I did some 　33　 　I discovered that his nickname was Atlas, the god to hold the heavens on his shoulders. For my grandfather’s football 　34　 , he was their Atlas, holding the team together. He was my Atlas too, as the 　35　 　of our family.
