When I was 7, my mom taught me Dr. King¡¯s I Have a Dream speech for a black history play at my church. We¡¯d watch a video of him giving the __36__, pause it, and then I¡¯d recite(±³ËÐ). Away from home, we¡¯d __37__ index cards(Ë÷Òý¿¨). And finally, I ___38__ the speech. Everyone in the family loved it. They were crying! At the end, I¡¯d __39__ my hands in the air, walk __40__, and I really projected(Éú¶¯µØ˵³ö), ¡°Free at last! Free at last!¡±

After that, my mom would drive me all over the community to __41__ to give the speech. I even visited mosques(ÇåÕæËÂ) and Buddhist __42__. I¡¯d ask my mom. ¡°Why are they __43__ like that?¡± And she¡¯d say, ¡°Baby, that¡¯s just __44__ they do it.¡± Then I asked, ¡°Are they all praying for the __45__ thing?¡± And she said, ¡°Well, __46__ they¡¯re praying for love,¡¡ then yes. Love is the same all over the world.¡±

I __47__ around until I was almost 10. And it made me feel good, because __48__ I gave the speech, I¡¯d make somebody __49__. Back then, I didn¡¯t understand __50__ they¡¯d cry. Now I see. I also understood why it was so important at that __51__ when Dr. King gave that speech. He was fighting for __52__ and spreading love. My grandma actually went to the march in Washington where Dr. King __53__. Even though there was a time when we didn¡¯t have our rights, my mom __54__ told me to be racist(ÖÖ×åÖ÷ÒåµÄ) or to stick to¡¡ my own _55__. When it comes down to it, we all bleed red blood.
