People talk about the problems with diet and dieting, and use them as an excuse for ending, or for not beginning a weight-loss plan. The main problems are that most people don’t know how the body works or they are unwilling to change their lifestyles. When correctly solved you will find these problems will disappear and will finally be a part of your lifestyle.

One problem with diet and dieting is that people complain of often feeling hungry. In fact, slimming doesn’t mean eating less. It just means eating differently. You should eat more foods rich in fiber(纤维) instead of foods high in fat. It is possible to be slim without ever feeling hungry. Eating more nutrient-rich(营养丰富的) foods also means you feel less hungry because your body is getting what it needs.

Another difficulty is the desire(欲望). Most people complain that they cannot eat their favorite foods because of the weight-loss plans, which causes them to eat too much “bad” food. A slimming plan shouldn’t mean you can just eat “bad” food. While there are some foods that you should limit, there is no harm if you take small amounts now and then. Eating one chocolate bar once in a while is not going to end a healthy eating plan..

Time can be another problem. When you’re busy, it seems much easier to just have a snack than to prepare a well-balanced meal. Slimming doesn’t mean spending more time. It also helps you save money. Fill your fridge with some food that can be thrown into a bag and eaten anytime. Also, with a little pre-planning, large healthy meals can be made all at once, and then foods frozen and reheated(重新加热) when needed.

Have you ever spent more money than you were planning in the supermarket? Don’t mind. In fact, supermarkets always have tickets to mislead you into buying more. So look out for these tricks next time you go shopping.
10 For $ 10. It sounds like a great idea to you. However, you’ll save the same money even if you only buy one thing. A recent survey has found when people see 10 For $10, five for $5 and 1 for $1, their mind usually fools them into thinking it’s a good idea to buy more.
Bigger Carts(购物车). Have you found that the supermarket carts are growing? The larger the cart is, the more likely you ‘ll end up spending more. So try to use a hand basket next time.
Pre-Cut(事先切好的) Vegetables and Fruits. Pre-cut veggies look so nice with their colorful packaging(包装). However, they aren’t exactly a good deal. Pre-cut vegetables and fruits can be a lot more expensive than the whole things. Besides, these pre-cut vegetables and fruits go bad faster.
Where is Everything. Shelves in the supermarkets don’t stay at the same place all the time. The stores are usually doing it on purpose, because if you don’t know where the things are, you’ll spend more time in the store. More time to look around means you will buy more things in the store.

In 1985 I visited China.I thought many Chinese parents put much pressure on only high school students. But in the following years, I found the pressure came to primary school children, then those of pre?school age, and finally newborn babies and pre?born children.

In order to succeed, one or two years before entering kindergarten (幼稚园) they must study English, drawing, singing, and dancing, and the three years of kindergarten are mostly spent to build up an early lead in primary school performance.

What if parents let their 3 or 4 years old child enjoy free time on Saturday and Sunday, after five days in nur?sery? They would be thought to be wasting their kid's early life.As others do, so must they do.

Yet children have not only the right, but the need to play.Kindergartens should not be a school. There should be no classroom, no lesson, no homework, and especially no exams.Instead, playing should be the first thing for children.

They need to play with others and also to play on their own, as playing is good for learning in a lively way. Children can discover numbers while playing games and the alphabet (字母表) through songs. Some Chinese cha?racters can become familiar to them by being used in games. But the problem with kindergartens is very serious.Chinese parents think studying is more important.Children work hard while having less and less time to play. What these parents fail to realize is that they are following the examples of how not to raise a kid.
