My father has a real neat vegetable garden. Every year he planted different kinds of vegetables for us to eating. Last year his corn were ten feet high and his tomato plants grew five feet high! I often help with him in the garden. We dig the hard ground in early spring, sow rows of seeds, and keep them water and safe from insects. When harvest time arrives, they happily pick the vegetables we have grown. We usually have too much vegetables in August. As result, my mother will freeze some for the winter month from December to March.
