11.Real-life Room Escape Games
Real-life room escape games are a type of physical adventure game in which people are locked in a room with other participants and have to use the things in the room to settle a series of puzzles,find clues (线索),and escape the room within a set time limit.
The games are based off Escape the Room video games,such as Crimson Room and QP-Shot,created by TAKAGISM Inc.by Toshimitsu Takagi in 2005,in which the player is locked inside a room and must explore his or her surroundings in order to escape.(36)G Other inspirations include adventure board games and movies.Real-life room escape games are becoming popular in the United States,Japan,and China.(37)A For example,some games require you escape prison cells while others require you escape space stations.
(38)F Soon,they were exported to North America,Asia and Australia.Examples include the two pioneer companies Hint Hunt and Adventure Rooms.
The games were so successful that new locations began opening up across China,in cities big and small,according to Want China Times.In the southern city of Shenzhen,for example,the first escape game location opened last August.(39)B"These real-life escape games can help those who stay at home on their computers and iPads all day to experience real social circles,"Tian
Xiaochuan, who owns two room escape game stores in Jinan, told Want China Times.
Earlier this year,The South China Morning Post said the real-life escape games are a hit among"highly stressed students and overworked young professionals."(40)D Some players get so involved that they tear down equipment or decorations inside their"prisons",as Zhu Yumeng,chief operating officer of Beijing room escape game store Taoquan told China Daily.

A.Each game adds local themes to settings.
B.And seven new game locations quickly followed.
C.They should also be brave enough to face their fears.
D.Sometimes the excitement becomes a bit much,though.
E.Weekend or day event escape games have been held in some stores.
F.Permanent real life escape games in a fixed location were first opened in Europe.
G.Players must be observant and use their critical thinking skills to escape the room.
7.Alone But Not Lonely
In today's fast-paced society,we've become uncomfortable with silence.We try to find different types of activities that can help us escape feelings of laziness or boredom,(36)D Solitude(独处)does not have to be uncomfortable or lonely.In fact,solitude and loneliness are very different things.
The death of a loved one or the inability to find people who understand you can leave you feeling lonely.Even if you are surrounded by other people,it's natural to experience an emptiness while longing for love or acceptance.(37)A
Geoffrey F.Fisher once said,"In cities,no one is quiet but many are lonely.(38)E
We often fill loneliness with all types of unsatisfying activities.Young people would rather spend a Friday night out with strangers,than spend the night alone.They're looking for a way to kill time while they await true friendship.Then there are young adults in gangs where they don't really like their companions.(39)BWhy does being alone scare us?
Do not be afraid of silence.(40)FIt teaches you how to truly listen.It teaches you to pay attention to what's going on inside of you.Only when we are alone can we have the space and peace we need to think without being outwardly influenced.It therefore becomes easier to make important decisions as well as to reflect on how we are feeling.

A.Loneliness is therefore a feeling that can be experienced whether or not one is physically alone.
B.They would rather feel accepted on a shallow level than risk feeling alone.
C.The problem of loneliness can be easily solved in a modern world.
D.But,when doing so,the main thing we.-are trying to avoid is loneliness.
E.In the country,people are quiet but few are lonely.
F.It can provide you with amazing benefits.
G.It guides you through hardships.
6.If you are in a crowd,the first and most important thing is to make yourself familiar with your surroundings and mentally notice alternate exits.(16)F
Make yourself aware of the type of ground you are standing on,and know that in a crowd of moving people wet or uneven ground can be slippery or hazardous, causing you to fall.
(17)A When in danger,a few seconds can make all the difference,giving you the possibility of taking advantage of escaping route.Always stay closer to the escape route.
If you find yourself in the middle of a moving crowd,do not fight against the pressure,do not stand still or sit down,because you could easily get trampled.(18)G
Take advantage of any space that may open up to move sideways to the crowd movement where the flow is weaker.
Keep your hands up by your chest,like a boxer-it gives you movement and protects your chest.(19)E If you cannot get up because you are injured,get someone to pull you back up.If you have kids,lift them up.
If you fall and cannot get up,keep moving by crawling in the same direction of the crowd,or if that is not possible,then cover your head with your arms and curl up into fetal position.(20)C
A.Be aware of the general atmosphere of the event,as panic situations can often be expected.
B.There is always space between people.
C.Do not lie on your stomach or back,as this dangerously exposes your lungs.
D.The worst is to be pushed by the crowd against an immovable object
E.If you fall,get up quickly.
F.No matter where you are,make sure you always know how to get out.
G.Instead,move in the same direction of the crowd.
5.In your life,whether intentionally or accidentally you may offend someone close to you.What you do about it will make the most difference.Learning how to say sorry in the right way will help you repair and keep the important relationships in your life.
The best place to start is at the beginning.It is normal to be scared as you ask for forgiveness and say you are sorry.Make sure you get it right and practice in the mirror.(36)B
(37)ADon't apologize if you don't really feel sorry.More bad will come than good if you say you are sorry without any meaning.It may ruin any future attempts and apologies that are sincere.
Make sure that you can admit wrong doing.Telling them that you are wrong helps them see that you know what you have done has offended them.(38)E They may not want to know why,or if they do they will ask.
Then find out how you can make it right with them.(39)D  Make sure that if you agree to make things right,do them completely without causing offence.
Let them know that you will never do it again.Let your friend or whoever you offended know that you have no intention of repeating your mistake.This will help them know that they aren't being taken advantage of.
Ask them for forgiveness.(40)G  Being truly sorry means that you want to put the whole mess behind you and being forgiven means that it will never be mentioned again.
Learning from past mistakes and offences can make the future of your relationship much brighter.

A.Apologize if you really mean it.
B.Practice will help you calm down.
C.Apology will make a big difference.
D.It may be physical,emotional or financial.
E.You may give them a reason for your action,but you don't have to.
F.Forgive yourself since everyone makes mistakes.
G.But it is their choice whether they give it to you or not.
4.Four Steps to Begin Your Path to Greatness
Feeling stuck is quite common. Many times,we have thoughts and dreams of what we want in life.(36)FOur thinking pattern holds us back from going forward. The good news is,at any moment in time,we have the ability to start taking action toward creating the life we want. Here are four steps to get started:
1.Celebrate Your Success.
Write down all the successes you've already achieved and all the awesomeness that you are today.(37)EAnd once you're in that positive routine with your thoughts,it will lead you to make better choices and take better actions toward your greatness.
2.Create Your True Vision.
Many times we live based on others'expectations or we stay stuck in a particular place because it's our safety zone.Own your path.It can be hard to do,but allow yourself to get out of your head(or stop listening to what others want for you)and focus on your heart and what it's telling you.(38)G
3.(39)BIf you want to start going to the gym, going from 0 days a week to 5 days a week right away is extreme, and setting yourself up by biting more than you can chew typically doesn't result in success, but failure.Instead, start slow and go once or twice a week. After you do that for a while and get into a nice routine,up it to more days.Over time, you will build toward your goal by taking realistic, smaller steps to get there.
4.Have the Right Support.
(40)AFind the right support to cheer you on in the process. It could be a friend,a family member,or significant other who you trust.Whoever it may be,having someone on your journey will be just what you need to keep you on track and celebrate with you as you work toward the life you dream of.

A.Don't do it alone.
B.Be realistic about your goals.
C.Be kind to yourself and accept the moment.
D.Your failure can lead you to another success.
E.Sadly, they only stay as thoughts and dreams inside of us.
F.This practice will direct your thinking to a positive place.
G.Look within yourself deeply and decide what you want and what's true for you.
2.Lots of people give you advice on overcoming fear.(36)C However,I want to tell you that a world without fear would be more dangerous, less reward ing.So we want to treat fear as a friend. Here are three reasons.(37)A
Think about it.Do you get more nervous when you meet the girl (or guy) of your dreams?Which is more fearful, talking to the boss of your company or to some of your friends?(38)FIf you didn't have fear to guide you,you might not know that! Not so bad, right?
Next, fear encourages us to take action.Fear is a call to action. In the past, our ancestors (祖先) didn't run away in fear when they saw a tiger running toward them but tried to kill it for food. Now,most of us don't face serious danger like hungry tigers every day,but we do face serious bosses or public speaking. So,what can we do?(39)GLastly,fear lets you know you are alive. Why do we like roller coasters (过山车)?(40)DSame for horror movies.
So fear can guide you towards what's important for you and encourage you to take action to improve your situation.Don't we all need that kind of friend?

A.The first is that fear is an excellent guide to opportunity.
B.Don't fear to be wrong.
C.They say if you can overcome fear, you will be successful.
D.It frightens us in a mostly safe way.
E.Imagine what life would be like without fear.
F.Fear is showing you what is important and what matters to you.
G.Let fear provide us with the energy to do what needs to be done.
