7．in改为from；考查介词，result in意为"导致，引起"，主语是原因，定语是结果． result from  意为"因…而导致…"，宾语是原因，主语是结果，结合句意此处应用result from．
8．made前面加be；考查动词的语态，Strong efforts与动词made是动宾关系，故加be构成被动语态．
9．more改为much；考查副词，修饰比较级better用much，more可以用在多音节形容词或副词前面构成比较级，但不能修饰比较级．
