After a final examination, I got a letter from my best friend and his parents live on a farm. They invited me stay with them for several weeks. I was so excited that I could sleep all night. When I got to their home I was warm received. I lived in a big and nice room. I enjoy the life there very much. Every morning we got up early and walked at the farm where we could enjoy the fresh air or beautiful scenery. We gathered some flowers here and there, and I found it filled of funs. In the afternoon we did our homework. I did have a good time.

A drug used to treat severe bleeding could save thousands of lives for mothers giving birth. A global trial of the drug found it reduced the risk of bleeding deaths during childbirth by nearly one-third. The study involved 20,000 women in 21 countries, mainly in Africa and Asia. The trial was carried out by London's School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. The drug is called d tranexamic acid £¨°±¼×»·Ëᣩ. She says despite medical advances in many countries, severe bleeding after childbirth remains a big problem in some parts of the world. ¡°It's one of the biggest killers of mothers. In Africa and Asia. about 10 percent of women will end up with severe bleeding. " The drug works by stopping blood clots£¨ÑªÄý¿é£© from breaking down after a mother gives birth. The treatment can prevent the need for doctors to perform surgery to find the source of bleeding.

Shakur said the best results were reported when the drug was given to women as soon as possible after childbirth, ¡°The earlier you give it- so within the first three hours of giving birth¡ªthe better the effect is. ¡±

The next step will be to get the drug where it is needed provide training for doctors and nurses on how to use it. During the trial, women were given the drug in a hospital. When I was a child,my parents often took me to an old house in a thick forest. No other children ever stayed there.I didn¡¯t even have the choice of playing with a brother or sister.

I could never understand what the attraction of the house was, even for my parents, who enjoyed nothing better than to sit in silence with a good book. The woman in the house,my father¡¯s distant cousin, was a terrible cook and her food was inedible.

One day, when I was wandering around the garden behind the house,I noticed a wooden house which had clearly been abandoned. As I walked towards it,I heard a noise, like an animal moving hurriedly away. Then I saw a man with a long beard standing at the door.I was greatly surprised.

Can exercise during childhood protect you against memory loss many decades later?Exercise early in life seems to have lifelong benefits for the brain,in rats at least.

¡°This is an animal study, but it shows that physical activity at a young age is very important¡ªnot just for physical development, but for the whole lifelong track of cognitive£¨ÈÏÖªµÄ£©development during ageing,¡±says Martin Wojtowicz of the University of Toronto,Canada.¡°In humans,it may delay the appearance of Alzheimer's symptoms£¨°¢´Äº£Ä¬ÊÏÖ¢£©,possibly to the point of preventing them.¡±

Wojtowicz¡¯s team divided 80 young male rats into two equal groups, and placed running wheels in the cages of one group for a period of six weeks.Around four months later¡ªwhen the rats had reached middle age¡ªthe team taught all the rats to connect an electric shock with being in a specific. When placed in the box, they froze with fear.

Two weeks later, the team tested the rats in three situations: exactly the same box in the same room, the same box with the room arranged differently, and a completely different box in a different room.

The rats without access to a running wheel when they were young now froze the same percentage of times in each of these situations, suggesting they couldn't remember which one was dangerous. But those that had been able to run in their youth froze 40 to 50 percent less in both changed box settings.

"The results suggest the amount of physical activity when we're young,at least for rats, has influence on brain and cognitive health¡ªin the form of better memories¡ªwhen we're older,"says Arthur Kramer of Northeastern University in Boston, who has found that,in humans, exercise promotes the growth of new brain cells.
