Dear Peter,

I’m glad to receive your letter, saying you are hoping to be a volunteer in 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Beijing has become the first city to host both Summer and Winter Olympic Games, and it together with Zhangjiakou is the host of the 2022 Olympic Winter Games.

I’d like to give you two suggestions on how to learn Chinese well. First, speak a little Chinese every day. The absolute best way to learn any new language is just to speak it. Second, attend a Chinese class or discussion group. After all, language learning settings are of great importance.
