Good morning£¬everyone£¬
I am Li Hua form Xingguang Middle School£®The topic of my speech is"Let's Ride Bicycles"
As is known to us£¬air pollution and heavy urban traffic are becoming increasingly severe mainly due to the overuse of cars£®Therefore£¬it's high time we chose another better means of transport£¬which is cycling£®
There are many good reasons to ride bicycles£®First of all£¬compared to cars£¬bicycles are much cheaper to buy and maintain£¬and you don't have all the added costs of fuel£¬and parking£®What's more£¬bicycles are more environmentally friendly than cars£¬because they hardly make
noises and exhaust£®Cycling has become a new trend around the world£¬a good way of energy saving and low-carbon life£®Last but not least£¬cycling is an excellent way to keep fit and live longer£®By riding bicycles£¬you can cut down your risk of heart attacks£¬high blood pressure and
other illnesses£®So I think£¬riding bicycles actually has great effects on us£®Let's ride bicycles from today on!
Thank you!

"Mama£¬when I grow up£¬I'm going to be one of those!"I said this after seeing the Capital Dancing Company perform when I was three£®It was the first time that my£¨36£©dream took on a vivid form and acted as something important to start my training£®As I grew older and was£¨37£©exposed to more£¬my interests in the world of dance£¨38£©certainly varied but that little girl's dream of someday becoming a £¨39£©dancer in the company never left me£®In the summer of 2005when I was 18£¬I received the phone call which made that dream a£¨40£©reality£» I became a member of the company£¨41£©dating back to 1925£®
As I look back on that day now£¬it surely £¨42£©lacks any sense of reality£®I believe I stayed in a state of pleasant disbelief£¨43£©until I was halfway through rehearsals £¨ÅÅÁ·£© on my first day£®I never actually £¨44£©expected to get the job£®After being offered the position£¬I was completely £¨45£©astonished£®I remember shaking with excitement£®
Though I was absolutely thrilled with the change£¬it did not come without its fair share of £¨46£©challenges£®Through the strict rehearsal period of dancing six days a week£¬I found it vital to £¨47£©pick up the material fast with every last bit of concentration£®It is that extreme £¨48£©attention to detail £¨Ï¸½Ú£© and stress on practice that set us£¨49£©apart£®To then follow those high-energy rehearsals£¨50£©with a busy show schedule of up to five performances a day£¬I discovered a new £¨51£©meaning of the words"hard work£®"What I thought were my physical£¨52£©boundaries were pushed much further than I thought£¨53£©possible£®I learned to make each performance better than the last£®
Today£¬when I look at the unbelievable company that I have the great£¨54£©honor of being a part of£¬not only as a member£¬but as a dance captain£¬I see a£¨55£©tradition that has inspired not only generations of little girls but a splendid company that continues to develop and grow-and inspires people every day to follow their dreams£®

I stood by my window overlooking the £¨38£©A£¬having nothing better to do£®But as it turned out£¬I was soon to learn about something £¨39£©D in life£®
As I watched several people go by£¬get into their cars and drive off£¬I £¨40£©Aan old man on a bicycle with a bucket on its£¨41£©B and a basket rags and bottles on its back-carriage£®He£¨42£©Cfrom one car to another£¬washing and cleaning them£®From the water on the ground£¬it seemed that he had already £¨43£©Dwashing and cleaning about a dozen or more cars£®He must have begun to work quite early in the morning£®
Several thoughts£¨44£©Amy mind as I watched him work£®He wasn't well-dressed£®He had on a pair of shorts and a£¨n£© £¨45£©CT-shirt£®The bicycle he rode was not by any means the kind modern£¨46£©Dwould want to be seen riding on£®But he seemed£¨47£©B with life£®There he was£¬working hard at his small business£¬£¨48£©Aat passers-by and stopping to chat now and then £¨49£©C elderly men and women on their way to the market nearby£®
There was a noticeable touch of£¨50£©Din the way he seemed to be doing things£¨51£©Athe windscreen £¨µ²·ç²£Á§£©£¬then standing back to admire it£» scrubbing £¨²Á¾»£© the wheels and £¨52£©C£¬standing back to see what they look like after the scrub£®
It was a £¨53£©A to learn£¬I felt£®At no age need one have to beg for a£¨54£©B if one has good health and is willing to work hard£®For a while I felt£¨55£©D of myself£®Young as I am-just sixteen£¬and there was this old man who must have been usefully engaged perhaps before the sun appeared above the horizon£®

This year I decided to do something to regain my good name as a kindly uncle£®My£¨36£©DTony£¬had never forgiven me for the dictionary I had bought him as a birthday present last year£®His £¨37£©B had no reason to be thankful to me either£¬because the year before£¬I had £¨38£©A their dear son with a pot of paste£¨½¬ºý£© and some funny pictures£®Instead of £¨39£©C them into a book£¬Tony had naturally covered every wall in the house with them£®This year£¬£¨40£©D£¬I decided to let him £¨41£©B for himself£®
We went into a big shop£¬but Tony was very particular about £¨42£©B£®Although I tried to show him toy after toy£¬he was not to be £¨43£©A£®Then I saw he suddenly became£¨44£©D£» he had discovered something he really liked£ºa large tin dram£®I was quite happy too £¨45£©B I thought what Tony's mother would say when she saw it£®Nobody would get any £¨46£©C for weeks!I led Tony away £¨47£©D£¬saying that the dram was too expensive£®
Tony asked for permission to go off £¨48£©A and I made the most of my chance to sit down end £¨49£©B my aching feet£®Fifteen minutes passed but there was still no sign of Tony£®I began to get £¨50£©C and got up to look for him£®I asked a young lady if she had seen a little boy in a grey suit£®She looked £¨51£©A her helplessly and pointed out that there were so many £¨52£©Din grey suits£®I was just going to call the police for help£¬when I saw a strange £¨53£©A dressed in strange orange clothes£®He was wearing a false beard and had a caveman's axe£¨¸«×Ó£©in one hand£¬and a space gun in the other£®It was£¬of course£¬Tony£¬who informed me £¨54£©B that he was the first £¨55£©Cto fly into space£®
