M’Kenzie and Derek Tillotson, of Utah, USA, are planning to embark on an epic trip around the world with their three young children, and are looking for a travel nanny(保姆) to help them on their journey. They posted a Facebook video hoping to get a few dozen applications, but ended up with messages from nearly 20,000 people hoping to get the job.

The couple runs a family travel blog called ‘Five Take Flight’ and recently decided to sell their home in Utah and go on an unforgettable adventure around the world. They plan to leave in July, flying from their home in Utah to New York City, then to Iceland, and the rest of Europe. They’ll return to their home city for a two weeks over Christmas, before flying to Hawaii, New Zealand, and finally Asia. It sounds like an incredible experience, but it’s also going to be pretty tough to manage with three kids, which is why they’ve decided to take someone to travel with them and lend a hand when necessary.

“You’ll be an honorary member of the family and will be treated with respect and be able to voice your opinion.” The travel nanny will be required to handle most of the homeschooling for the couple’s two boys, while also looking after their baby sister and also handle some of the cooking and cleaning.

“It’s hard to define your exact hours because you will be living with us, but you will have time to yourself every day for sure, and one to two times a week you’ll be able to go off on your own .” The Tillotsons add that the chosen person will receive a monthly salary of $1200 – $1500 for their work besides travel expenses and other living costs. However, a number of people have pointed out that the sum is still very low for the requirements.

A woman was caught trying to get her boyfriend out of Puente Ayala prison by packing him in a large suitcase. They almost got away with it, but guards became suspicious after seeing the woman struggling with the suitcase.

25-year-old Souda arrived at the Puente Ayala prison in Barcelona, Venezuela, last weeks, to visit her boyfriend, Jose Antonio, who was serving a sentence of 9 years and 8 months for stealing cars. She had brought their six-year-old daughter and a large pink suitcase, which is common for an overnight stay by family members in South American prison. Little did the guards know that Souda and Jose Antoni were planning to leave the prison together the next day, as a big happy family.

Their plan seemed to go smoothly as the woman carrying the bright pink baggage didn’t attract the guards’ attention, but it failed when they finally noticed the short woman struggling to pull the seemingly light suitcase out of the door. They stopped Souda and asked her to open the suitcase so they could check its items. Left with no choice but to meet the guards’ demand, the woman opened the suitcase to show young Jose Antonio looking like a professional contortionist (专业柔术演员)and covered with different clothing items.

Puente Ayala guards sent the car thief back to the prison. Souda has been caught by guards and is waiting for official charges, and the couple’s six-year-old daughter, Mary, has been placed in the care of social services.

Some people think that success is only for those with talent or those who grow up in the right family, and others believe that success mostly comes down to luck. I’m not going to say luck, talent, and circumstances don’t come into play because they do .some people are born into the right family while others are born with great intelligence, and that’s just the reality of how life is.

However, to succeed in life, one first needs to set a goal and then gradually make it more practical. And, in addition tothat, in order to be really good at something, one needs to spend at least 10,000 hours studying and practicing. To become great at certain things, it’ll require even more time, time that most people won’t put in.

This is a big reason why many successful people advise you to do something you love. If you don’t enjoy what you do ,it is going to feel like unbearable pain and will likely make you quit well before you ever become good at it.

When you see people exhibiting some great skills or having achieved great success, you know that they have put in a huge part of their life to get there at a huge cost. It’s sometimes easy to think they got lucky or they were born with some rare talent, but thinking that way does you no good, and there’s a huge chance that you’re wrong anyway.

Whatever you do, if you want to become great at it, you need to work day in and day out, almost to the point of addiction, and over a long period of time. If you’re not willing to put in the time and work, don’t expect to receive any rewards. Consistent, hard work won’t guarantee you the level of success you may want, but it will guarantee that you will become really good at whatever it is you put all that work into.

3.What can we infer from Paragraph 4?

A. Successful people like to show their great skills.

B. People sometimes succeed without luck or talent.

C. People need to achieve success at the cost of life.

D. It helps to think that luck or talent leads to success.

4.What is the main theme of the passage?

A. Having a goal is vital to success.

B. Being good is different from being great.

C. One cannot succeed without time and practice.

D. Luck, talent and family help to achieve success.

Getting on the school bus, like the possible dangers around the home, getting on the school bus can also bring its own set of dangers. There are several important safety measures that parents should be aware of when it comes to bus safety.

Parents should always make sure that someone is taking charge of children at the bus stop to make certain clear ground rules which are in place and are being followed—particularly rules that forbid horseplay in and around the street.

Teach children to ask the bus driver for help in picking up anything they may have dropped around the bus, as children getting dropped articles are often hit by the bus or another vehicle because they are not seen by the bus driver or by oncoming traffic.

Children should be asked to take five large steps away from the bus when they get it off, and make sure that the bus driver can see you and look you directly in the eyes to signal it is OK to cross the street. It is still very important that children also look both ways as they cross the street.

Inform children that they must never speak to any stranger who talks with them first and that they must never accept a ride from any person unless their parents tell them directly that it is OK. Teach kids that adults should ask other adults for help, not kids. If an adult asks a kid for help, that child should get another adult.

If for any reason a child feels uncomfortable or unsafe at the bus stop they need to bring it to a parent’s or caregiver’s attention.

Remember, planning ahead is always the best safety measure. Follow these rules and your family will be off danger!
