In response to the question whether high school students in China just focus on improving their grades, Li Hua from Bo Ya Middle School in Foshan was interviewed last week and his views and experience are as follows. According to Li Hua, at Bo Ya Middle School, it is widely acknowledged that a person¡¯s personalities and character actually matter more than his grades. In day-to-day school life, students at his school have learned to listen to each other and care about each other. Besides, thanks to the opportunity to organize and take part in different after-class activities, students there have developed the ability to strike a balance between study and other things. Last but not least, Li Hua, the interviewee himself, who used to bear just studies in mind, can now get along with different people and react to difficult situations in the best way possible.

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿Music is often thought of as ¡°easy¡± or ¡°play time¡±£¬ but it's not that at all. Music plays a very important part in our education. Students who learn music learn a lot of music history at school. This includes ¡°modes (µ÷ʽ)¡±£¬which were used in churches during the development of music. They are still used today.
