My Opinion on Cheating in Examination

At present, some students have picked up a bad habit--- cheating in examination.

One possible version:

My opinion on Cheating in Examinations

At present, a number of middle school students have picked up a bad habit¡ªcheating in examination.

There are three main reasons. First, schools have given students too many examinations, some of which are too difficult. Second, some students are not diligent and they don¡¯t work hard at their lessons. More time is wasted playing games on surfing the Internet. Therefore, they haven¡¯t enough time to prepare for the exams. Third, students have to do so to satisfy their parents and teachers.

In my opinion, cheating in exams should be forbidden because it not only goes against the school rules but also does great harm to students. ¡°No pains, no gains.¡± We students are supposed to be honest and hardworking, only in this way, can we improve our study and make progress. Besides, our teachers should offer fewer examinations and severely punish those who cheat in the examination.

Remembering names is an important social skill. Here are some ways to master it.

1. Recite and repeat in conversation.

When you hear a person¡¯s name£¬repeat it. ¡¾1¡¿ . You could also repeat the name in a way that does not sound forced or artificial.

2. Ask the other person to recite and repeat.

You can let other people help you remember their names. After you¡¯ve been introduced to someone£¬ask that person to spell the name and pronounce it correctly for you. ¡¾2¡¿ .

3.Use associations.

¡¾3¡¿ . For example£¬you could make a mental note: "Vicki Cheng -- tall, black hair. " To reinforce you¡¯re your associations, write them on a small card as soon as possible.

4. ¡¾4¡¿ .

When meeting a group of people, focus on remembering just two or three names. Free yourself from remembering every one. Few of the people in mass introductions expect you to remember their names. Another way is to limit yourself to learning just first names. Last names can come later.

5. Go early.

Consider going early to conferences, parties and classes. Sometimes just a few people show up on time. ¡¾5¡¿ . And as more people arrive, you can hear them being introduced to others¡ªan automatic review for you.

A. Admit that you don¡¯t know.

B. Immediately say it to yourself several times without moving your lips.

C. There are fewer names for you to remember.

D. Limit the number of new names you learn at one time.

E. Link each person yon meet with one thing you find interesting or unusual.

F. Most people will be pleased by the effort you¡¯re making to learn their names.

G. You will be forgiven later.

The revision period is, arguably, the most difficult part of any exam process£®The exam itself¨Cusually between one and three hours£® ¡¾1¡¿ However, the knowledge that it is the culmination of the entire process should provide some comfort£®A well-structured revision plan can help you revise well£®Below are my top tips for creating a well-structured and comprehensive revision plan, which will provide the best chance of success in the summer.

1£® ¡¾2¡¿

It ought to go without saying that planning your revision timetable must be done before anything else, to ensure there is enough time for comprehensive coverage of all subjects£®With most exams starting at the end of June, the revision plan should be in place by the end of March at least.

2£®Continual assessment

¡¾3¡¿ In order to chart (¸ú×ټǼ) your development effectively, we recommend that our students attempt practice papers in each subject, marked according to the relevant mark scheme and curriculum.

3£®Order your subjects strategically

¡¾4¡¿ Ordering your subjects in an effective manner can help to do this£®For example, scheduling English revision to appear early in your revision plan may provide useful when revising essay-based subjects such as History, Religious Studies and Politics later on.

4£®Each subject is different

Depending on your learning style, you may find one easier than the other£®More unusual exam types, such as performance exams, require their own unique attention£® ¡¾5¡¿

A£®Besides, your time allocation (·ÖÅä) may be dependent on your own aptitude in that subject£®

B£®Make a detailed timetable

C£®Pressure andnerves can undoubtedly make it an uncomfortable experience.

D£®Revision is a process of improvement.

E£®Plan early

F£®Starting with a subject that appears early on in the exam schedule is a wise decision.

G£®The best revision plans have an element of strategy to their creation.

Most of us travel once in a while and many have realized that some trips aren't very friendly to the environment. Tourism is a major source of carbon dioxide emissions (¶þÑõ»¯Ì¼ÅÅ·Å), but that doesn't mean we should stop planning our next journey. ¡¾1¡¿ Here are some tips for planning your next eco-friendly trip.

1. ¡¾2¡¿

This will not only make it easier to move around but also have less influence on the carbon emissions of your chosen transport.

2. Travel on foot as much as possible.

This not only saves money but also brings you closer to local people and culture. ¡¾3¡¿ Also, use local transportation, accommodation and restaurants to benefit the local economy.

3. Good drivers leave less influence.

Follow old tire (ÂÖÌ¥) marks and stay on roads. If you plan a road trip, ask family and friends to be with you in the car as individual tours have a greater environmental influence than traveling in groups. ¡¾4¡¿ Take reusable bags when shopping so you don't have to ask for disposable(Ò»´ÎÐÔ) ones.

4. Choose a hotel that is eco-friendly.

Find out whether the hotel is locally run, whether it has recycling programs and whether it encourages the reuse of towels. ¡¾5¡¿ Turn off the TV, lights and the air conditioner when going out.

A. Avoid buying plastic water bottles.

B. If you must rent a car, choose a small one.

C. Treat your room as if it is your own home.

D. Pack light and only take things you will really need.

E. For short trips, travel by bus or train rather than flying.

F. Take your trash with you until you can leave it at a right place.

G. It is our responsibility to prevent negative influence on the environment.

It is said that there are about 40,000 different kinds of jobs in the world. ¡¾1¡¿

¡°Finding a job¡± is not the same as ¡°choosing a job¡±. Many young people end up in a job which they are not suitable for. ¡¾2¡¿ Here are a few steps to help you think about jobs which you might enjoy doing after school or university.

First, it is important to realize what kind of person you are, which special qualities make you different from everyone else and what you are interested in. ¡¾3¡¿ If you like art and enjoy looking at pictures, that is an interest. But if you can draw a horse that looks like a horse instead of a big dog, that is a skill.

Then ask yourself this question: in the following three areas ¨D skills with people, skills with information and skills with things ¨D which are your best skills?

After examining your skills, the next step is research. To find out as many different kinds of jobs as possible, go to the library and read books, magazines and newspapers. ¡¾4¡¿

Finally, trust your own ideas and your own thinking! ¡¾5¡¿

A. It is your own life, so find something that you enjoy doing.

B. Choosing the right one itself is a difficult job.

C. We must know what our ideal jobs are.

D. There is a difference between an interest and a skill.

E. Ask your friends about the work they do.

F. ¡°Chance¡± may play a more important part than ¡°decision¡±.

G. Yourspan> parents may also give you some useful advice.

Teenage years can be confusing for both teenagers and parents£® At about 15, many teens start thinking about how they feel about themselves and out how this matches or mismatches what others think of them£® Most teens work through this by the age of 16 or 17£®

Often teenagers are treated like bigger children, but they will never become and responsible if they are not allowed to make some decisions for themselves£® If parents forbid their children from doing something, chances are that they will do it without permission anyway£® The role of a parent must, therefore, change from that of protector and keeper to that of friend and £®

Yet even the most caring parents misunderstand their children sometimes, and some think of teenagers as insecure, stubborn and £®As a result, teenagers always keep their from their parents£® Teens often that their parents repeat the same things over and over again and never listen to them£®Parents must understand that teens need to be allowed to their side of any problem and express their point of view£®

Thus, more private and level-headed communication is needed for the parents£® Every parent should try to schedule time to be with their child, like taking a short trip together£® This time allows parents to talk and listen without from work or other family members £®It might also be good to encourage teens to important issues at dinner£® Discussion time shows teens that parents are interestd in them and their lives£®

A person¡¯s teenage years are a key time for them to identify their own ,like distinguishing good from evil£® Handling and improving communication with teenagers is not easy, but success will be for parents and teens alike£®
