In this competitive society, we lay emphasis on success and strive for it. We are afraid of failure simply because no one tells us how to fail so that failure becomes a growing experience.

It goes without saying that failure is never pleasurable. It hurts us and gives us the feeling of despair. But it can also make a positive contribution to our life once we learn to use it. Failure is a better teacher than success because success encourages repetition of old behavior whereas failure can prompt fresh thinking or a change of perspective. Moreover, failure can free us to take risks because there is less to lose.

Don’t be afraid of failure. Failure isn’t fatal. Countless people have had a bout with it and come out stronger as a result.
