Last weekend I went to the Summer Palace as usually. At about noon, I was enjoying my reading near a lake while suddenly I hear someone crying for help. I went up to see what was happening. I was shocking to find a little child struggling in the water in the distance while many peoples were standing by without doing anything. Without any hesitation, I had pushed through the crowd as I took off my coat, but jumped into the water quickly. I managed to reach him and carried him back to safety. To his great relief, the kid was saved. I was proud what I had done. I wish everyone could give the hand when someone else is in need.

I like riding my bike．Though it is not very new, but it is my best friend．I find very convenient to go anywhere with a bike．Riding gives me not only exercises but also pleasure．I use my bike almost in summer when the weather is warm and dry．It can be very pleasant in winter when it is cold and rain is pour down．It can also be very dangerous．Of course I will be very carefully on my bike．In fact, accidents are not the only problem．Once I went to bookstore on my mother’s bike to buy some books and come out to find the bike missing．Now I have two strong lock．

Never should I forget the first English lesson giving by Miss Liu. On that day, when she entered the classroom, we found out that she was a young and beautiful lady. Then she introduced her and said we shouldn’t call her Teacher Liu but Miss Liu. Late, she let us go to the blackboard and say something about ourselves in English on turn. When it was my turn, I felt so shy that I don’t dare to say anything before the class. She went up to me and said kind, “Don’t be afraid.
