As can be seen, the Lujiang River is not as clean as it used to be. People throw a large amount of rubbish into the river everyday and many factories pour a great deal of waste water into it, causing a serious water pollution. It is time that we did something to protect the river now.
Along with other volunteers, Li Ming and I will pick up the rubbish floating on the river, which may make the river look cleaner. What’s more, we intend to give a speech in public to increase people’s awareness of protecting our mother river.
