Climbing is my most favourite sport. I am very fond of it, especially in later autumn. One day early in the morning, my friends and I put on my sports shoes and start off. After climbing for half an hour, we got to the top of the mountain. There we had good view miles around. To the north, a big river crossed the city, on which there were many ships sail busily. A lot of beautiful trees was there, too. The sun started to go down, for it was time for us to go back. In the way back, we were laughing and talking all the time. We had a good time on that day.

A decorator has decorated his new house to help his wife in her battle with dementia£¨³Õ´ô£©.

Matt Wood recently moved back to Scotland with his wife Julie, 75, after she was diagnosed £¨Õï¶Ï£©with the illness. The couple had lived in Berkshire for 30 years but now returned to their home town, Motherwell, Lanarkshire, to be closer to their family.

When Mr. Wood, 75, was told that any big changes in surroundings could cause anxiety in people with dementia, he was worried that Julie would be upset by moving from her normal surroundings. Therefore he decorated their new house in exactly the same way as their old one.

¡°Julie was diagnosed with dementia in 2009, and we moved back to our hometown in May to be near family for extra support. I had a long, hard thought about what I could do to make the change as easy as possible for Julie.¡±

From the color scheme to the skirting£¨Ç½½ÇÏߣ©, fireplace to fittings, the decoration of the house exactly copied their former home. He also placed decorations and family photographs in the exact same positions they had in their previous home.

Mr. Wood says, ¡°Recreating the inside has really helped Julie settle in.¡±

¡°Caring for Julie and helping her deal with the changes has become my only focus.¡±
