Some students cheat(作弊) because they’re busy or lazy and they want to get good grades without1 the time studying. Other students might feel that they can’t      the test without cheating. Even when there seems to be a “good reason” for cheating, it isn’t a good idea..A student who thinks cheating is the only way to pass a test    to talk with the teacher and his or her parents so they can find some better ways together. Talking about these problems and    them out will help feel better than cheating.
If a student gets caught cheating, the teacher may give a “zero” on the test, send him or her to the head teacher’s   , and call his or her parents. Worse than the     grade may be the feeling of having disappointed those people, like parents and teachers. A parent may worry that you are not an    person and a teacher might watch you more closely the next time you’re taking a test.
There are plenty of reasons why a kid shouldn’t cheat, but some students have already cheated. If that’s you, it’s       too late to stop cheating. Cheating can become a  9 , but a student is always able to act better and make better     . It might help to talk the problem over with a parent, teacher, or friend.

Bad days happen to us all. Often a day that starts out bad just continues to get worse. Sometimes there’s a “domino effect(多米诺效应)” with bad events. For example, you sleep through the alarm, so you’re stressed. And you will sit in the bad traffic, which will also make you late for work, etc.
How can we turn a bad day to a good day? Here are some ideas that have worked for me:
Smile a lot
Smiling a lot will help you feel relaxed. Research has shown that smiling produces three useful chemicals which make us feel good.
Talk to a good friend
Keeping bad or unhappy things in your mind is not a good idea. Talking to someone who cares and listen really does help us feel better, too.
Concentrate on your good things
It’s hard to concentrate on how bad things are when you’re concentrating on how good things are! Think of 10 or more things you’re thankful for, and you’ll achieve a whole new outlook(人生观) on your day.
Get some exercise
If you can, go for a walk. Exercising will help you feel better. Excising can get your day back to be normal again.
Make the day a challenge
If you make yourself think of the day as a challenge, you’ll start to do all the things you can to make your day better.

If you lose 12 times in a row (连续地), will you just give up? Dale Carnegie, a pioneer in public speaking and self-development, kept trying. And he became famous by showing people how to be successful.
Carnegie was born into a poor family in the United States. The boy didn’t see a train until he was 12 years old. In his teens, he had to get up at 3 am every day to milk the cows for his family.
When Carnegie first entered college, he felt upset because of his ragged (破旧的) clothes and ordinary(平凡的) looks. His mother encouraged him, “Why not try to be better in other things instead of just dress and good looks?”
Carnegie tried to be more active in college. He joined the debate (辩论) team. But one after another, he lost 12 competitions. The young man was very disappointed with himself. He said later that he thought of killing himself after failing so many times. But soon Carnegie was seen practicing public speaking on the riverside. His hard work paid off at last. In 1906, Carnegie won a famous speech contest and became well-known. “Believe that you will succeed, and you will,” he said.
In order to share his success, Carnegie opened schools and wrote books. His best-sellers(畅销书) include How to Win Friends and Influence People and How to Stop Worrying and Start Living. More than 50 million copies of his books have been translated in 38 languages. They are still helping people on the road to success.
