How do you usually get to school? By bus? On foot? Roby Burch, 16, a US student, gets to school a little differently---he goes by horse .
Burch has been riding his white horse 4 miles to and from school since(自从)the 83 _____ of the semester. “Every morning, wearing my blue jacket and jeans, I’m on my way at 6 am. ” Burch says, “The streets are mostly 84________ at this time of morning. It’s a nice way to start the day. ”
The idea was his 85__________. His family were 86______ their vacation on their farm this summer, “My dad just said, ‘Roby, you 87__________ ride your horse to school every day. ’” says Burch. He thought it really was a good idea.
When they got back home, Burch asked for permission from the headmaster (校长), Joe Cox, and surprisingly, he got the green light. Cox 88_______  allowed(允许)Burch to keep the horse next to the headmaster’s house. Then his dad helped Burch find the best route to school. For the return trip every afternoon, Burch leaves school at 5:45 pm. Even now, as the days grow shorter and colder, he continues to ride his horse. “ I will ride my horse even in the coldest weather. ” he says.

Yes, it’s 8844.43 metres…” I’ll never forget my first geography lesson. He was    humorous that we all fell in love with his lessons    . It’s Mr. Chen who opened the door of geography for us.

Generally speaking, most of the teachers are strict     students and sometimes a little bit demanding(苛求的), not so with Mr. Chen. He is a lighthouse, showing us the way to the treasure of knowledge. He is a friend and easy to get     with, always encouraging us to speak out loud without   our shyness and other disadvantages. He is an example, volunteering his time to students and other teachers.

One day I happened to meet him in the hospital. Seeing the cut on his arm, I realized he was donating his   . I was moved and was     another lesson, a lesson of love and devotion.

Every time I see my globe(地球仪), it would   me of Mr. Chen. He is the most unforgettable teacher I have    met and he will always be. Someday I hope I am       to be a teacher like him.
