How are things going with you? Today I’m writing to you about our school life．Since the policy “Reduce unnecessary burden for more effective learning” was carried out, we don’t need to have self-study in the morning any longer．But the policy has caused a great deal of argument．
Some students think highly of it , some are against it and the rest think it makes no difference to them．For me, I am pleased with it．
To start with, classes used to begin very early in the morning so we had to go to school without breakfast, which more or less affected our health．But now we get up at 7 o’clock and have enough time to have breakfast or take whatever exercise or sport we like．What’s more, without self-study in the morning, we can have a good sleep．As a result, we will be more energetic in class．And as a matter of fact, without self-study in the morning, we can still find some time to read aloud, remember English words and go over what we have learned．In a word, I am so pleased with the new policy and I can enjoy my sleep and breakfast every day．
