The holiday’s upon us. After months of study, you have some time to yourself. So, why not read a book? Well, some people will say, ‘Why trouble with books? On 2003 July 16, The American-Chinese Writers’ Association declared their nomination (提名) of Wang Meng, a contemporary Chinese writer and vice chairman of the China Writers’ Association, to the Nobel Committee of the Swedish Academy in Stockholm a candidate for the 2003 Prize.
