Computer hackers(黑客)have now got their hands on mobile phones.A phone virus(病毒)program can 1 your phone do things you have no control over, computer security experts 2 .
It might 3 the White House or the police, or forward your personal address book to a marketing company.
Or it could simply eat into the phone’s operating software, turning it 4 and erasing your personal information.
Similar viruses have already made mobile phone owners 5 in Japan and Europe.
Mr Hypponen, chief technical officer of a computer security in Fin-land said a virus“can get your 6 and send them somewhere else. And it can record your 7 .”
Mobiles are now able to surf the net, send e-mails and 8 software. So they are easy 9 for the same hackers who have sent viruses to computers over the past decade.
“It’s technically 10 now,”said Stephen Trilling, director of re-search at anti-virus 11 .
“If the phone is connected to the 12 , it cant be used to transmit threats and 13 just as any computer can.”
In Japan, if you opened a certain e-mail message 14 your mobile, it would cause the phone to repeatedly 15 the national emergency number.
So phone operators had to 16 emergency calls until the 17 was removed.
In Europe, mobile’s short message service, 18 , SMS, has been used to send codes that could damage 19 .
Mobile users can 20 virus, of course, by sticking to their traditional phones without Web links, some experts said.

Are you a man or a mouse? When people ask this question they want to know 1 you think you are a 2 person or a coward(懦夫).But you will never really know the answer to this question 3 you are tested in real life. Some people 4 they are brave but when they come face to face with real 5 , they act like cowards.Others think of themselves as cowards, but when they meet danger, they act like 6 .
Lenny had always thought of himself as a 7 person. He got worried before examinations. He worried about his job and health. All he wanted in life was to be safe and healthy. 8 , on January 15th, 2002, a plane crashed into the Potomac River in Washington.Lenny went to the river to see what was happening. He saw a woman in the 9 water.Lenny did not feel afraid. He kept very 10 and did a very dangerous thing. He jumped into the Potomac, 11 to the woman, and kept her head 12 the water.Seventy-eight people died that day. Thanks to Lenny, it was not 13 .
When you are in a very 14 situation and feel afraid, the body automatically produces a chemical in the blood. The chemical is called adrenalin. 15 adrenalin in the blood system, you actually feel stronger and stronger and are 16 to fight or run away. However, when you are absolutely terrified, the body can produce too much adrenalin. When this 17 , the muscles become very hard and you find you 18 at all.You are then paralyzed(使无能为力)with fear. This is 19 when we are very frightened, we sometimes say we’re“petrified”.This word comes from the Greek word“petros”, which means“stone”.We are 20 frightened that we become stonelike.

If you have ever been discouraged because of failure, please read on.For often, achieving what you 1 to do is not the important thing.Let me explain.
Two brothers decided to dig a 2 hole behind their house. As they were working, a couple of older boys stopped by to 3 .
“What are you doing?”asked one of the visitors.
“We plan to dig a hole all the way through the earth!”one of the brothers 4 excitedly.
The older boys began to laugh, 5 the younger ones that digging a hole all the way through the earth was 6 .After a long 7 , one of the diggers picked up a jar full of spiders, worms and a wide variety of insects. He 8 the lid and showed the wonderful contents to the scoffing(嘲笑,嘲讽) 9 .
Then he said quietly and 10 ,“Even if we don't dig all the way through the earth, look what we found along the way!”
Their 11 was far too ambitious, but it did 12 them to dig.And that is what a goal is for-to cause us to move in the 13 we have chosen; 14 , to set us to digging!
But not every goal will be fully 15 .Not every job will end successfully. Not every relationship will endure. Not every hope will come to pass. Not every love will last. Not every endeavor will be completed. Not every dream will be 16 .
But when you 17 your aim, perhaps you can say,“Yes, 18 look at what I found along the way!Look at the wonderful things which have come into my life because I tried to do something!”
It is in the 19 that life is lived. And I believe it is joy in the journey, in the end, that truly 20 .

“This Friday we’ll have the yearly Egg Drop Challenge,”said our science teacher, Mr.Baker.“You can work alone or with a partner.”
My Friend, Cassie, and I smiled at each other. We always worked on projects 1 .
The 2 of the Challenge was simple-to build a protective container to keep an egg from breaking when 3 the stadium wall.
I made my sandwich that afternoon while waiting for Cassie. 4 the butter-cream gave me an idea.
“I have a brilliant design for our 5 container!”I said when Cassie arrived.“We can 6 the egg with some butter-cream.”
“Why not put the egg in a basket with a parachute(降落伞) 7 ?”Cassie rolled her eyes.“The parachute is better than that stupid idea.”
I couldn’t believe it.Of course we’d had our little 8 in the past, but she’d never called any of my ideas“ 9 ”before.
“Then I’ll build mine and you build yours!”
10 words had been out, our friendship was challenged.
When Friday finally arrived, I had to 11 Cassie’s Egg Force One looked pretty good. 12 , my Egg-cellent Egg Cream didn’t look quite scientific. We kids carried our containers up three stadium steps and dropped them over the side wall. Those whose eggs broke were out; those whose eggs survived 13 three more steps and dropped them again. This would go on till the last egg broke.
After four rounds, only Cassie and I were 14 .I let go of my box.I heard someone say “ew”after seconds.Had my egg broken?I raced down the 15 .The sidewalk was dotted with egg shells(蛋壳)from those 16 drops. Finally I found my little Egg-cellent Egg Cream.
“That looks like egg drop soup, Laura,”Cassie said. She was holding her Egg force One.My 17 raced.Had she won?I looked at her basket. 18 .
“My egg bounced 19 .”She explained, pointing to a broken shell.
“A tie(平局),”Mr.Baker said.

I ran into a stranger as he passed by.“I'm so sorry!” was my reply. Then he said, “Excuse me too…I wasn't 1 watching for you.” We were very polite, this stranger and I.Then we went 2 our way after saying goodbye.
But at 3 , a different story is told. How we treat our loved ones, young and old.Later in the kitchen, as I 4 our meal, my daughter walked up to me, very still. When I turned, I 5 knocked her down.“Get out of the way!” I shouted with a frown(皱眉).She stepped away silently, with her little heart 6 .I didn't realize how harshly(苛刻地)I had spoken.
That night, when I lay 7 in bed, God's quiet voice spoke to me and said, “While 8 with a stranger, you are calm and polite, but with those you love, you are QUICK to excite…Go look around on the kitchen floor, you'll find some flowers there by the 9 .Those are the flowers she brought for you.She 10 them herself-pink, yellow, and your favorite blue. She stood there quietly, and you never saw the 11 in her eyes.”
By this time, I felt sad and small and now my own tears had begun to fall.I quietly went and knelt by her 12 :“Wake up, my dear,” I said, “Are these the flowers you picked up for me?” She smiled, “I found them out by the tree.I 13 them in a napkin, just for you.I knew you'd like them, especially the 14 .” I said, “I am so sorry that I missed them today…And I 15 have fussed at you that way.”
And she whispered, “Mommy, that's okay…I still love you 16 .” I hugged her and said, “I love you, too and I LOVE the flowers.”
Do you know that: if you die tomorrow, the 17 you are working for could easily replace you in a matter of days. But the family you leave 18 will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into our 19 than into our families-an unwise investment(投资)indeed.
Remember that 20 =(F)ATHER-(A)ND-(M)OTHER-(I)-(L)OVE-(Y)OU.
