Firstly, not everyone has the chance to watch the show live, so by sending shout messages, people can really take part in the program, rather than just passively watch it. This allows them to support their favorite performers, programs and to comment on them. Secondly, sending short messages is not expensive, so the average person can afford to do it.

However, others think it is just another way for TV stations to make more money. They allow the audience to participate by sending short messages, which attracts young people to send messages continually in order to support their favorite performers.

In my opinion, SMS interaction has changed the way people enjoy TV programs and the use of it will also increase people’s enjoyment.
