Four schoolboys from Guangdong saved a drowning girl at the cost of their own lives. None of them was a good swimmer. The four boys’ untimely death sparked off a heated debate over whether it was done right.
Personally I think the four boys did the right thing trying to save the girl, but it was not advisable to put themselves in danger. It is against traditional moral values not to come to someone’s rescue when he is in desperate need of help. The four boys were brave enough to risk their own lives saving a stranger.
