Jaisalmer

A beautiful sandstone city rises magically from the sand dunes(沙丘)of the Thar desert. It looks like it’s straight out of an Arabian Nights fable. Its ancient fort, built in 1156, lets visitors view the city. It houses five palaces, several temples, as well as shops and other houses. Riding a camel into the desert is also a popular thing to do in Jaisalmer.

Jodhpur

Known as the Blue City for its blue painted buildings, Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan. Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur provides a good look at Jodhpur’s blue buildings. It’s one of the largest and most well-protected forts in India. Insides, there are numbers of palaces and a museum. It’s great to do nothing but relax here.

My mother is always ready to help the others. I still remember one afternoon two year ago when my mother invited a poor woman in our home for a meal. She asked me prepare a meal for the woman. It's a very good thing too，because the whole structure of our society depends on mutual trust, not distrust. This whole thing around us would fall apart if we didn't trust each other most of the time. We do what we say we'll do; we show up when we say we'11 show up;we deliver when we say we'll deliver;and we pay when we say we'11 pay. We trust each other in these matters, and when we don't do what we've promised, it's far from the normal. It happens often that we don't act in good faith and in a trustworthy manner, but we still consider it unusual, and we're angry or disappointed with those badly-behaved people. Anyway I was so proud of myself for stopping for the red light that night.

【题目】Most people don’t notice I’m polite, which is the point. I am big and look less energetic. Still, every year or so, someone takes me aside and says, “You actually are polite, aren’t you?” I’m always thrilled. They noticed. That’s the thing.
