I’m writing to apply for permission to be a volunteer working for you in Weihai City.
My name is Li Hua and I’m studying at a senior high school in Weihai. English is my favorite and I’m good at speaking the language. In fact, I was a first-prize winner at last year’s oral English competition at the provincial level. So believe me, I’ll make a wonderful interpreter. Besides, I love sports and enjoy perfect health, which may be important to the volunteer work. Last but not least, a lot of my friends are football fans and I'm familar with the tourist attractions in Weihai, having the advantage of getting more locals and tourists here to watch the World Cup in South Africa.
