Recently a survey has been done to find out the cause of obesity among high school students. In this survey, one thousand high school students from ten schools in Hebei Province were asked to complete a questionnaire. They were asked what they think leads to their being overweight.

The survey shows that thirty percent of the students believe that they are too fat because they lack physical exercise, and an equal number of students say the reason is probably that they are supplied with too much fatty and rich diet, which makes them what they are now. Twenty-five percent of the students claimed that it is the family genes that are to be blamed. However, the students who don’t realize the danger of obesity only make up fifteen percent.
