Scientists have not been able to clone dogs, cats or other pets, but if and when the time comes, several companies will be ready and able to do the job. The question is whether you are ready to clone your pet. Brett Reggio is betting on it. He is working on his Ph. D at Louisiana State University. He's successfully cloned a goat five times and wants to try to process on family pets. So he started a business called Lazawaron. “What Lazaron provides is the first step in the cloning process,”he said. “It's for curing and storing the fiberglass cells that will be used for cloning.”“Your first reaction is yeah! I think I'd like that.”said Donna Schacht, a pet owner. “I don't believe you can ever replace a special love,” pet owner Paulette Callation said. Most pet owners will tell you freezing your pet's DNA in hopes of one day cloning. It is a personal decision. Scientists say that cloning your own pet doesn't mean that the offspring will have the same intelligence, temper or other qualities that your pet has.

to let them know how important it is that they support legislation that protects animals. Make
them know that their actions will have a great effect on your vote.
     Be more loving
     If you're considering adding a dog or a cat to your family, think about getting one from a
homeless-animal house rather than buying a pet. There are many wonderful animals just
waiting for a home. By taking back an animal from there, you will be helping in the fight
against pet over-population, as well as giving your money to those who are responsible for
taking care of pitiful animals.
     Let your actions be an example to others
     It may sound simple, but one of the best ways to help animals is to let your actions speak
to the world. You should do the following things first by yourself: Treat all living creatures
with respect. Care about your pets and look after them well. Avoid (避免)entertainment

the moon, why can't they find a cure for the common cold? The answer is easy. There are actually
hundreds of kinds of cold viruses out there. You never know which one you will get, so there isn't a cure
for each one.
     When a virus attacks your body, your body works hard to get rid of it. Blood rushes to your nose and
cause a block in it. You feel terrible because you can't breathe well, but your body is actually eating the
virus. Your temperature goes up and you get a fever, but the heat of your body is killing the virus. You also have a runny nose to stop the virus from getting into your cells. You may feel miserable, but actually your
wonderful body is doing every- thing it can to kill the cold.
     Different people have different cures for Colds. In the United States and some other countries, for
example, people might eat chicken soup to make themselves" feel better. Some people take hot baths and
drink warm liquids (流汁). Other people take medicine to stop Various symptoms (症状) of colds.
     There is one interesting thing to note" some scientists say taking medicines when you have a cold is
actually bad for you. The virus stays in you longer because your body doesn't have a way to fight it and kill
