Last Saturday, my class organized a volunteer activity to the gerocomium（敬老院）. My classmates and I went to the gerocomim near our school. We took a lot of presents to the elderly. Some of us performed wonderful program，such as singing, dancing. We also asked them to join us and they were very happy. Some of us talked with the elderly seriously. They told us a lot about their lives.
All of us were happy because we did something good to others. In my opinion, we should spend more time helping the elderly. Love the elderly is Chinese people’s virtue.
