【答案】Recently, a survey on homework preference has been conducted among senior three students. The results are as follows: more than half of the students, about 54%, usually put their math homework in the first place while only 7% would rank Chinese as the most important. Meanwhile, English is regarded as most significant by 18% of the participants, and the other subjects attract the attention of 21% of the students.

(看法1)In my opinion, it is reasonable for students to pay the most attention to math because math is so interesting and challenging. It also seems much easier for students to gain a sense of achievement in math especially when they succeed in solving a math problem. Maybe that’s why math grasp most students’ attention.

（看法2）From my perspective, it is not reasonable for only 7% of students consider Chinese as the most important subject. Since Chinese is our mother tongue and influences the Chinese people in all aspects, there is no doubt that students should learn Chinese with their heart and soul. Besides, Chinese plays an important role in the College Entrance Examination. So it is suggested that students attach more importance to this subject.
