With the rapid development of science and technology, more and more monitoring equipment has
come into campus. Recently, our class has had a discussion on whether it's necessary for schools to install monitoring equipment in campus. Opinions vary from person to person.
Many students think it's necessary to install monitoring equipment. Monitors can provide teachers with
the latest campus circumstances so as to help them deal with the problems immediately in case of
emergency. Furthermore, monitors play an important part in recording the unusual cases, which will
become the evidence of disorder and crime.
However, some students are against the installation. They fear that their privacy will be offended and
exposed to the public. Besides, too much of the equipment is a waste of money, as most of the record will be of no use at all.
As far as I'm concerned, we should take an open mind to monitors as long as we make proper use of
them. In a word, monitors can ensure us the campus safety and create a harmonious environment for us
students.
