Glad to know that you are coming to teach in our school. All of us are looking forward to meting you here. My school is located in the suburbs, about an hour’s ride from the city. There are about 200 full-time teachers, including two foreign teachers from Canada. We have about 3,000 students in three grades with each class containing 60 students. All the teachers and students are friendly and cooperative. I’m sure you will enjoy your life here in the coming year. You will be expected to teach students English listening and speaking and organize some English activities out of class, mainly on weekends. Of course, you can open extra classes to the students or share your experience of teaching with the Chinese teachers here if you like any time.
