I have a deskmate in middle school, Jack, who was better at his lessons than I was at mine．We were often asked to check each other's English compositions at English classes．Jack always directly pointed out the errors in my compositions, which made me angry．I thought he looked down upon me and my work．Anyway, I unwillingly corrected the mistakes until one day my English teacher said that I had written a perfect composition．It was only when I got my teacher's praise that I realized my deskmate was, actually, a great help to me．We became good friends finally and I have come to understand that sometimes good medicine tastes bitter．
