One possible version: 　　Last term I took part in a geography research study group. Our topic was environmental pollution and protection. We took a variety of pictures showing the present pollution conditions of our city. To our surprise, there are still a lot of people doing silly things to our surroundings. Some people throw rubbish anywhere they like, some cars give off harmful gases, and waste water is poured into the rivers by some factories. Worse still people sometimes have to make their way through dusty winds as a result of the pollution.
