Some of my classmates and I were planting trees at the railway station at half past eight this morning when three foreign visitors came to us and asked us how to go to the People' s Park by bus. I caught their meaning and replied to their questions in English. They were satisfied with my answer and expressed their thanks to me and said good-bye to us. It's the first time for me to talk with foreigners in English. I felt very excited for not only did I help the foreigners but also practised my spoken English. I have made up my mind to study English even harder so that I will be able to serve the people better. |
