The Huaihe River has been serious polluted. Day and night, million of tons of waste water is being poured down to it from hundreds of factories. The waste water was harmful. At present there is no fish in it. The river water cannot drunk. People on either bank have to dig wells to get drinking water. The Huaihe River is such dirty and poisonous that people don’t dare to swim in them. Everything must be done to stop the pollution. The government and the people near the river must try to clear the water as soon as possible. Now special attention has been paid on to the pollution by the government and many scientist. The pollution will be prevented in the near future.

Dear Sir，
Thank you for invite me to the summer English course in your school. As for your choice between the two courses, I prefer the four-week course because of this will allow me more time to do some traveling but make a few new friends. All of us need friendship. The understanding   between two friends mean both of them have similar ideas and trusting each other. Otherwise, it isimpossible for him to help each other and to maketheir friendship to last long. Patience is of great importance in our daily life. Once I waited a bus to come at a stop. 30 minutes past, but no bus came. Both upset and annoyed, I decided to walk on feet. But no sooner had I left when the bus arrived. I thought if I had waited for one more minute, I would have caught it. If I chose to take a next bus, I would have to wait for other 30 minutes.
