Shanghai World Expo
The World Expo, first held in London in 1851, is regarded as the Olympic Games of the economy, science and technology.
As the first one of the developing countries, China will host the World Expo in Shanghai from May 1 st to October 31 st of 2010. it aims to promote the development of the world economy, culture, science and technology. The theme of the World Expo is “Better city, better life”. Hai bao, the mascot for Shang hai World Expo, now can be seen everywhere in the city. 242 countries and international organizations will take part in the exhibition, in which each member will display their own latest achievements. It is believed that this expo will greatly improve the international relationship.
