These days some students in our class smoke in the classrooms or dormitories after class.   Our class had a meeting to discuss this issue. The students have two different opinions. 75% of the students think smoking is a bad habit. Firstly, smoking can cause a lot of diseases. Secondly, smoking is a waste of money. Moreover, careless smokers may cause dangerous fires.
However, 25% of the students hold the idea that smoking is a kind of fashion. Meanwhile, they think smoking is of great fun. Besides, smoking can refresh themselves.
In my opinion, smoking is not only harmful to smokers themselves, but also to non-smokers. Therefore, I hope all the smokers can give up smoking at once.
