At 5:53 on January 13th, 2010, a big earthquake hit Haiti, in which over 120 thousand people were killed while more than 200 thousand were injured. Most people became homeless and a lot of houses fell down. The capital city of Haiti was almost destroyed, where electricity and traffic were completely cut off and there was not enough food and medical care for the people. Many countries sent out rescue teams, which saved 132 survivors from the ruins. The whole world held out a helping hand to the people in Haiti and China has donated money and things valued over 8 million dollars.
