Today, a sunny day, Li Hua and I went to the countryside by bus to attend the Orange-picking Festival, which started at 8 o’clock in the morning.
When the organizer announced the rules of the festival, we were led into the orange garden by beautiful girls in red, group by group. While walking along the country road, we saw the beautiful scenery and heard the birds singing. The air was much fresher and cleaner than that in the city we are living in. During the festival, we enjoyed sweet oranges, watched some exciting performances and learned many stories about the town and its kind people. At about five in the afternoon, we had to say goodbye to the garden and went back home. Both Li Hua and I enjoyed ourselves and hoped to visit the again soon.
