The aim (目的) of students who come to school is to study. But studying requires (需要) a right way, or you waste

either the time or the money. The following are the Ways of studying

The best time for reading is morning, because in the morning, the air is fresh and the mind is clear. For that reason, we can get good results.

In studying we must have patience (耐心). If we have not known a text well, we must read it again. We shouldn’t read the next one till we have understood the first one.

When we are studying, we must put our hearts into the book, or we can get nothing from the book while we are reading.

We must always ask “whys”. If it is not well understood, write it down and ask our teachers, parents, or friends. In any possible way, we must know it completely and what we’ve leaned can be used well and made better.

Though there are many ways for studying, yet the above mentioned (提到的) will be quite enough if we can keep them in heart and do so.

I am Tara Subra. I love my smartphone. But everywhere you look, people are glued to their screens. And we are all missing out on chances to notice and enjoy the world around us.

This smartphone addiction(成瘾) is seriously affecting our ability to focus. I can’t even watch a movie without checking my phone, which means nothing ever receives my full attention. That’s scary, especially in a school. I’m afraid it changes my work and how well I learn.

My name is Alex Hager. Smarphones encourage us to think more and give us a lot of information. Say you’re with your friends and they are discussing a certain event you know nothing about. You can use your phone to learn about it, and then share that conversation.

Smarphones are also a way to find people who have the same interests and goals. For example, I love making YouTube videos, but nobody at my school does. So my phone allows me to connect with other YouTubes and learn from them.

That’s why I want you to pick up your phone, search for a person who’s talking about something you love, and start a conversation. Your world will get bigger-straight from your palm(手掌) of your hand.

1.Why can’t Tara Subra watch a movie without checking her phone?

A. Because she doesn’t watch movies.

B. Because she has smartphone addiction.

C. Because she likes appreciating the world around us.

D. Because she is afraid of ding homework.

2.What does Subra mainly tell us?

A. She loves her smartphone very much.

B. Smartphone addiction affects the ability to focus.

C. She watches a movie without full attention.

D. Smartphone addiction affects her homework.

3.Which of the following is NOT Alex Hager’s idea?

A. Smartphone help us get lots of information.

B. Smarphones help find people with the same interests and goals.

C. Smarphones affect the quality of people’s work.

D. Smarphones can make our world get bigger.

4.What can we know from the passage?

A. Maybe different people have different ideas.

B. Students can’t use smarphones in the school.

C. People can’t use smarphones when watching a movie.

D. Tara Subra loves making YouTube videos.
