【题目】 Are there too many kids obsessed(着迷的) with texting?

Texting Nonstop!

Yes, I do think kids are too obsessed with texting. Many kids I know can be in the same room or even sitting next to each other, but they text each other rather than actually talk with friends, it's hard to get their attention when they are texting. People seem to like to text more than talk.

---Riley

Responsible Texting

No, I don't think too many kids are obsessed with texting. Sometimes kids might just need some time alone on the phone. They probably just need to talk to their friends! I believe most kids are responsible and know when to stop texting.

--- Ella

Guilty (羞愧的) About Texting Too Much

Kids are really obsessed with texting. When I text my friends, almost all of them answer in less than a minute. Some of my friends even get their phones taken away for being on them too much. I see my friends most of my day at soccer time or at school, and even I am guilty of texting them several hours a day when I am home. Sometimes it' s better to spend time outdoors and with your family rather than with your phone.

---Tom

Get physical Training ---Get off the phone!

A lot of my friends, as soon as they got a smart phone, texted or got online constantly. Spending that much time on a screen is not healthy for you or your brain. Personally, I’d rather spend time outside doing sports with my friends than on the phone. You can tell your friends things at school or whenever you see them next time -- you don 't have to spend all your time texting.

【题目】根据短文内容,把下面方框内的选项按顺序还原到原文中,使原文句子通顺,结构完整.

Lots of people give you advice on overcoming fear. 1However, I want to tell you that a world without fear would be more dangerous, less rewarding. So we want to treat fear as a friend. Here are three reasons.

2Think about it. Do you get more nervous when you meet the girl (or guy) of your dreams? Which is more fearful, talking to the boss of your company or to some of your friends? 3If you didn’t have fear to guide you, you might not know that! Not so bad, right?

Next, fear encourages us to take action. Fear is a call to action. In the past, our ancestors didn’t run away in fear when they saw a tiger running toward them but tried to kill it for food. Now, most of us don’t face serious danger like hungry tigers every day, but we do face serious bosses or public speaking. So, what can we do? 4

Lastly, fear lets you know you are alive. Why do we like roller coasters (过山车)? 5Same for horror movies.

So fear can guide you towards what’s important for you and encourage you to take action to improve your situation. Don’t we all need that kind of friend?

A. The first is that fear is an excellent guide to opportunity.

B. Let fear provide us with the energy to do what needs to be done.

C. They say if you can overcome fear, you will be successful.

D. It frightens us in a mostly safe way.

E. Fear is showing you what is important and what matters to you

【题目】 The sound of the rain hitting the windows wakes me up and it sounds just exactly as it did 15 years ago, which made me think of my girlhood.

It was my second day of school and it was raining heavily. I couldn't get away from the habit I had at home, so I fell asleep right at my desk. I woke up to find myself not in the classroom but carried on Dad's back. We were halfway home. It was the last time I felt close to him.

After that, he never carried me or hugged (拥抱) me as other fathers did to their children. I was not troubled by this thought. I was proud of it, for I felt independent (独立的) and "grown up". However, there were times when I felt sad for not having got comfort from him,

One day, I was writing Chinese characters as my homework. I hated doing this more than anything. Dad came and stood behind me for a moment, watching me scrawling (潦草地写) on the paper. Then he said, "This kind of writing needs patience. Your writing is not strong enough. Press harder. "

I followed his advice for the next two weeks, but as: I could see little improvement (改进), I followed my own method-the fast way. His advice didn't improve my writing but our relationship. As I grew older, I found out that he had finished his schooling in Grade 6, which was the highest grade in town then, so he was considered to be a scholar (学者). People used to ask him to write something to put on the walls, but he never felt very useful.
